{MMS GIVEAWAY & Product Review}

{A Product Review & Giveaway for My Memories Suite Software}
Have you always had a fascination with scrapbooking, and really wanted to get into it; but didn't want to spend the money to purchase various papers, embellishments, and such?
Well, you can now explore your creative side and get your scrapbooking fix through the My Memories Suite software; rated #1 in scrapbook software and a best seller on Amazon.com, MMS allows you to create digital scrapbook pages/albums....without having to fuss over colored paper and knick knacks.
I had the pleasure of getting to play around with MMS and created some fun digital scrapbook pages!
Unfortunately, my computer decided to crash on me so I can't share my most recent digi scrapbook pages, but you can see my two holiday pages below, and check out the MMS gallery here.
Pros
A vast selection of digital solid and patterned backgrounds, embellishments such as ribbons, bows, brads, etc.
Easy navigational right sidebar
Numerous amounts of templates to get started if you do not want to create from scratch
Able to have your digital scrapbook printed into an actual book, or imported onto your computer as an image
A variety of scrapbook theme packages available for purchase
Great community base for MMS users
Lots of freebies and scrapbook 101 features sent weekly by MMS
Great help and support as well as tutorials available
Affordable ($39.97), and definitely cost efficient compared to paper scrapbooking
No Mess, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is less time-consuming

Cons
Takes up a bit of memory space on the computer
At least 2 minutes for the software to start up and load
Software sometimes lags (even when all other programs are closed on the computer), there's a delay in moving objects or clicking an object on the digital scrapbook page
Some graphics look too 'clip-art' like, simple pixel images
You would think that not having to work with tangible photos and pieces of paper, and instead just uploading and moving these objects around on the computer screen would be less time consuming, but I would say that an average scrapbooking project of 2-pages would come out to the same duration; because of the lag time in the software. Maybe it would be different if I had a lightning speed computer and a huge harddrive?
