Could you imagine a more relaxing way to spend a summer afternoon than a wine tasting in a tucked away oasis? Once a month, during the summer, Irvine's very own Hyatt Regency Hotel's 6ix Park Grill hosts a complimentary wine tasting with small bite food pairings. This month, I was fortunate enough to attend the Murphy-Goode Wine tasting; enjoying their Sauvignon Blanc & Cabernet Sauvignon with a variety of cheeses, crackers, and fruit all in the comforts of 6ix Park Grill's plush patio seating under the shade of oversized palm leaves. Along with the wine tasting, I met with Shaun, the Marketing Manager, and we chatted about the hotel & 6ix Park Grill events for the upcoming months while tasting appetizers and specialty cocktails. I was about to say...some of my faves were...but I didn't have a fave because each dish and drink was so unique in flavors, and equally delicious! Enjoy the Murphy-Goode Wine, appetizers, and cocktail photos below! Sauvignon Blanc-it's light and crisp; the perfect summer white wine(like a picnic in a glass),a compendium of floral and citrus notes, white peach & honeydew, and a hint of smokey flavors

Cabernet Sauvignon- fruit forward with deep, rich flavors of blackberry & cherry, and great oak flavor.

Crab Cake Sliders: Lemon dill aioli, brioche bun, blue lump crab

Roasted Sweet Corn and Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta: grilled crostini, California olive oil

Crispy Mushroom Ravioli: Portabella Mushroom and shallots served with a pomadoro sauce, grated reggiano and basil

Truffle Fries: fried Yukon gold potatoes, white truffle oil and black truffle peelings

Sea Salted Pear – Grey Goose la poire, St. Germaine, Monterey sea salt rimmed martini glass
