{Food & Wine | 6ix Mixer II}

This has to be the third time in the past 6 months that I have visited 6ix Park Grill at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. Last night, I attended my second 6ix Mixer and enjoyed a wine tasting of Matchbook with scrumptious food pairings ($5 Menu!) while chatting with food bloggers Anita of diary of a MAD HUNGRY WOMAN and Austin of The Hungry Dogg, as well as Robin, the Communications Director of the OC Fair & Event Center. Although this marked the last 6ix Mixer for the summer, I can look forward to 'Punt Pass & 6ix' for the upcoming NFL season.
Watch the game from flat screens throughout the patio area while enjoying draft beers and the new 'Tailgate Menu' including bites such as sliders and bratwursts. If you're not a football fan, you can still enjoy 6ix Park Grill's complete restaurant menu, or the special 'Tailgate Menu' foods, and the vast selection of wine, beers, and cocktails.
See you there in September!
Smoked Chicken Bruschetta/Basil aioli, fresh tomatoes, & roasted garlic
I always love a spin on a bruschetta pomodoro, and Chef Bill always hits the nail on the head with his bruschetta creations. See last month's 6ix Mixer's Roasted Sweet Corn & Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta here!
Roasted Zebra Stripe Tomato Crostini/ Tomato Jam on crostini with Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese
I just recently became a goat cheese lover; and have tried it with blueberries, as well as an apricot jam. So I was quite ecstatic to try it with the Tomato jam; the sweet flavors proved quite complimentary to the  richness of the goat cheese.
Filet & Vegetable Skewers/Grilled Filet w/bell peppers & demi glace
One Word- TENDER
Man oh man were those skewers DE-LISH
