31 Bits launched their brand new HQ located in Costa Mesa (a mere 3 blocks away from my apt). Attendees were able to enjoy the exclusive 31 Bits store, drinks and yummy snacks as well as food trucks, and a dance floor!
31 Bits sells jewelry consisting of 100% recycled paper made by women in Northern Uganda, and the designs can be found at over 100 boutiques and major retailers in the US and around the world!
Mission
31
Bits Designs Northern Uganda is designed to empower vulnerable
individuals to rise above poverty through maximizing creative abilities
and generating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. In the 31 Bits
program, the women earn an income that allows them to provide for their
families, receive financial and savings training, and maximize their
creative skills and abilities. We strive to build a loving community
that cares for individuals’ spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical
needs.
