{Outfit | Pleased with Peony}

After teaching my dance class and heading home to get ready for lunch, I was overcome with a sense of relief. Why? Because it was finally overcast outside (instead of death sun rays beaming down) and a moderate 70 something degrees, a nice contrast from the mid 90s heat wave we've been experiencing. Therefore (the point of my intro), is that I was able to cozy up a bit in my new Michael Stars Cashmere Blend Drop Shoulder Pullover Sweater which I kept simple with a pair of Forever21 black faux leather shorts and Dollhouse fold over wedges. Added a little pizazz with my studded strap tote bag, but all in all wanted to keep the focus on the sweater; the color is absolutely GORGEOUS! Again, another jewel tone that I am in LOVE with this season! I can easily wear the sweater with dark wash denim, color block with complementary colors, or mix in a chiffon or silk bottom. Although the sweater is a cashmere blend, it wasn't itchy to wear; the extra fine wool, modal, and cashmere came together perfectly. Great semi-fit throughout the body, and it's nice to have the banded bottom and sleeves to add more shape.
