Food | Floe Lounge at the Irvine Marriott Hotel-Irvine Restaurant Week

For my contributing writing gig at Destination Irvine, I had the pleasure of covering three hotel restaurants in Irvine, California for Irvine Restaurant Week (which will officially take place January 10-16th). During IRW, participating casual to fine dining restaurants offer prix fixe lunch, dinner, or both menus for your enjoyment.
The first restaurant I experienced was the newly renovated Irvine Marriott's Floe Lounge. The restaurant is very open and caters to everyone whether you're looking to grab a quick drink and bite, stay a little longer as you get some work done on your laptop, or for a full sit down experience. The posh, plush white leather seating, interesting artwork, and accents of deep to vibrant blues creates an upscale but cool, coastal chic atmosphere; very so cal.

From the lunch menu, I tasted the Abuela Tere Soup, Fiscalini Cheddar Grilled Cheese, Fig Flatbread, and Bread Pudding Churros. See the entire lunch menu here, which you can taste for $15! I liked the unique blend of flavors in each dish.
The dinner menu features classic dishes with a twist! I tasted the Bibb Lettuce Salad (not pictured), Wildflower Honey Glazed Salmon, Harris Ranch Skirt Steak, and S'mores. See the entire dinner menu here, and enjoy it for $30!

Floe Lounge also hosts live music artists and 'Relaxed Hour' their take on a happy hour! Check their facebook page for updates and details!
