Afternoon Tea at OC's Newest Boutique & Cafe, Morning Lavender in Tustin

I was so thrilled when I found out the news that one of my fave shops, Morning Lavender was to open a boutique & cafe in OC. After the tremendous success of its online store, showroom and retail spaces - owner and fellow blogger Kim (Lace & Locks) with husband Jason, opened their flagship boutique/cafe concept in Old Town Tustin. Since the opening of Morning Lavender OC, I have been dying to go - and I finally got the chance a couple days ago; and to experience their new afternoon tea service.

I have to say that out of all of the afternoon tea services I have experienced so far, Morning Lavender OC's tea is my all time favorite....why? You really can see the attention to detail; the tea service combines modern and charming design elements. with a clean menu and patio space, enhanced by the vintage floral china and tea sets. And most importantly all of the finger sandwiches, desserts and scones tasted freshly made and baked. I've been to afternoon teas where yes, the tea and food taste good, but after tasting Morning Lavender's afternoon tea offering I can truly taste the difference in well, homemade and FRESH food (at some other tea houses or restaurants, they almost tasted like they were made in the morning and sitting under plastic wrap waiting for tea service to come around). With that said, this afternoon lavender tea service is a must, especially now that they are taking reservations! Hope you get to experience Morning Lavender OC!
