Vintage Country Bride Style at Chateau Adare in Murrieta

Thought this impromtu bridal shoot would be fitting to share since I’m heading down to my wedding venue today for our last coordination meeting. While visiting private estate wedding venue Chateau Adare in Murrieta, CA, I got into a rack of vintage wedding dresses and pulled this one out to try on and shoot with Shawna (Bleudog Fotography). I have a feeling it’s a wedding dress from the 80s? The strapless top gives the dress a modern and younger feel, but the skirt has more of a baroque style silhouette for a nice contrast. I just threw on a pair of booties and started snapping photos around the venue grounds. I could definitely see this dress being styled to be worn today: with a faux fur shrug and strappy heels for a feminine, romantic look or with a moto jacket and chunky heels for an edgy and contemporary feel. This location on the property reminds me of a ranch (they even have a horse - click here to see) , so to give this wedding dress more of that country feel, I would pair cowgirl boots and a custom hand painted denim jacket (have you seen those?!).
