Lush Hair Products - Rose Jam Shampoo Bar & Happy Joy Joy Conditioner

I have formed the most insane LUSH obsession recently, and this is all because I decided to wander into a LUSH location while visiting Las Vegas. I then went on to visit and shop the Mission Viejo and Newport Beach locations; conclusion....I just can't get enough. I'll still working on putting together a special video on the Twilight bath bomb and Rosie gift set, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a couple hair products I picked up.

When going into LUSH for the second time, I was introduced to hair and skincare products; and I was most particularly interested in the shampoo bar; since I had seen it at the Las Vegas location but wasn't too keen on having to use a bar on my hair. This time, I was given a demo on how to use the shampoo bar, and it seemed simple enough so I took home the Jason And the Argan Oil shampoo bar which is my FAVE scent, ROSE JAM! Can you believe that this bar can last up to 80 washes, which amounts to about 3 bottles of shampoo? AND the argan oil will leave my hair looking silky smooth! I was also sold on the LUSH tin case just so I don't have to worry about transporting it.

I have gotten some feedback from friends that have used the shampoo bar that theirs had crumbled after only a few uses; so I inquired about this with a LUSH associate on my next visit and she explained leaving the shampoo bar moist in your shower or post using can cause it to break apart when transporting or using again because it doesn't get a chance to dry back together into a solid piece. Therefore, she advised that I should take my shampoo bar and air dry it by waving it back and forth in the air to try to get the moisture out, then place in my tin (which is the perfect cool, dry storing spot).

While purchasing my shampoo bar, I also asked about conditioners and was recommended HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY because I had wanted a conditioner that would nourish my bleached hair ends. This is a vegan conditioner and has the yummiest ingredients like rose water, orange blossom, almond milk base, and grapefruit oils; my locks will be moisturized and smelling oh so good!

I also received a sample of the Angels on Bare Skin face and body cleanser; it has a clay-like texture to it and soothing lavender scent. When using it for the first time, I didn't break off enough of the cleanser to mix with warm water to create the 'paste-like' consistency needed to apply to my face. Hopefully I can get the mixing into paste thing down. Have you tried any of LUSH's hair shampoo or conditioner products? What's your favorite? And what other fave LUSH products must I try??!
