Vegan & Organic Skincare with Nucifera The Balm

Having worked in the cosmetics industry the past 6 months, I've been surrounded by all aspects in the creation of beauty and skincare products and have seen a growing demand for all-natural or organic beauty and skincare products. Whenever I encounter a brand that offers organic and or natural beauty/skincare products, I'm always interested in trying those products to experience the feel and results.
Over the weekend, I tried the Kosas Cosmetics lipstick collection (made from all natural ingredients), and absolutely loved the outcome of using their lip product.
This past week, I've been using Nucifera's The Balm religiously, and I can't get enough. The Balm which resembles coconut oil and is actually mainly made of coconut oil, is a distinctive blend of the most healing and effective plant-based butters and oils found on earth, completely consisting of zero synthetics, organic, vegan, raw, plant-based skin nutrition.
The Balm can be used on the face, hair, scalp, skin, hands, feet, nails and more. I mainly use it on my dry spots such as my elbows and knees and as an all-over body moisturizer. At first glance, the packaging is minimal with a beautiful tropical leaf design. Although the balm looks completely like coconut oil and mainly smells of coconut, the consistency is a bit thicker than a balm or coconut oil; upon first contact, it doesn't melt immediately on your fingers but does gradually melt upon spreading on your skin.
Aside from The Balm being made up of mainly organic coconut oil which has the following benefits: moisturizes, boosts collagen, evens and illuminates skin tone, face wash, makeup remover, fights Inflammation, anti-bacterial, anti-fungus, increases skin elasticity, skin regenerative, improves acne, reduces wrinkles, improves eczema and psoriasis conditions, natural SPF; The Balm also consists of Kokum Butter*, Avocado Oil*, Borage Oil*, Mango Butter*, Moringa Oil*, Essential Oil Blend of Lavender, Peppermint, Grapefruit, Carrot Seed Oil, Sandalwood, Palo Santo, Patchouli, and Frankincense** (*Organic **Medicinal Grade Essential Oil Blend).
The other scents that I pick up in the The Balm are the heavier notes of Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Frankincense. I use the balm every morning and night, and I noticed that after applying the balm onto my dry skin, I experienced a prolonged period of half a day (more than usual than when using a moisturizing lotion or oil) in which my skin looked extremely smooth and hydrated, and it felt that way too.
Where I saw the most difference was applying The Balm on my legs immediately after drying off from the shower, therefore my skin was still moist. Literally, for a full 24 hours post-application, my skin looked so supple and smooth and felt so luxe to touch as if I had done some kind of spa treatment on them. It was as if The Balm enhanced and retained the moisture that was in my skin and kept nourishing my skin, not only am I seeing such positive and skin-radiating effect, the product I'm using has no chemicals in it, thus is good for me! Our skin is the largest organ we have and I need to be more aware of what I put on it as it soaks those products right up, and I'm glad it's soaking up organic and healthy ingredients from The Balm that my body and mind will benefit from. I'm addicted to using Nucifera's The Balm, and you need to try it out for yourself, grab yours here. Want to learn more about Nucifera and the brand? Visit their website here.
