 {Belated Birthday Breakfast with Hiam, this week's Featured Fashionista}

  {Featured Fashionista of the Week: Hiam Awni/Garden Grove}

My friend Hiam and I had been wanting to get together for awhile now (since I graduated college), so that we could catch up over some yummy food! She decided to take me out to Plum's Cafe in downtown Costa Mesa to celebrate my Birthday. Plum's is known for their brunch menu and mimosas, so we had some pretty high expectations. The breakfast menu was all we had hoped it to be; I ordered the Coconut French Toast (french toast topped with toasted coconut flakes, powdered sugar, and slices of strawberries, bananas, and mango) and Hiam ordered the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict (poached eggs over peppered ham & fresh baguette, drizzled with chipotle-cilantro hollandaise).Mmm Mmm good, every bite of my french toast was more delicious than the next, and I even got to taste a bite of Hiam's eggs benedict...the best I' ve had. I must go again with the boyfriend, and have a nice brunch on their patio area, so nicely nestled under greenery and lights. 

Also, I couldn't help but feel so HAPPY when seeing Hiam's outfit! I loved the color palette (perfect for transitioning into Fall) of her sweater and how it perfectly complemented her bottoms and oxfords!
