Food | Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restuarant- New York

 {8am breakfast @Clinton St Baking Co.& Resturant/New York}
Don't be fooled by the word 'BAKING' in this restaurant name; Clinton St Baking Co. & Restaurant in the Lower East Side of New York City, offers an impressive array of bakery delights, breakfast (served ALL DAY), lunch, and dinner dishes that will have you wanting to order everything off the menu. This was the first place my friends and I ate when we were on our weekend NYC trip. Since we had arrived so early in the city, we waited for about an hour before the restaurant opened at 8am; but it was well worth the wait.
We shared the blueberry pancakes, eggs benedict, and a swiss and bacon omelette. There was an overwhelming response from all 3 of us when it came to the blueberry pancakes, we just couldn't get it enough of it; the pancakes were billowy and doughy, full of morsels of yummy blueberries inside, topped with more blueberries and powdered sugar, and served with warm maple butter. The eggs benedict were also delicious, I liked that the hollandaise sauce was topped with fresh diced tomatoes and green onion. We all agreed that the omelette was a bit on the lacking side, both in taste and presentation. Like my friend Trang said in her Yelp review, the omelette came out "very flat, and there was nothing super spectacular about it...on the lukewarm side, never really fully melted" (she meant the cheese wasn't fully melted inside the omelette).
Some perks...$14 Beer & Burger Night Mon-Thur 6-8pm, 1/2 off bottles of wine Mon & Tue Nights, $20 Fried Chicken & Waffles (w/Rogue Chipotle Ale included) Wednesdays and February is Pancake Month!
If you live in NYC, then I'm sure you already know about this place...it's a total local hot spot; and if you plan on going to NYC in the future...this is a go to restaurant for any meal of the day!

I rarely ever consider a restaurant to be so superior is all aspects of my dining experience, but Clinton St Baking Co. & Restaurant really hit every nail on the head; food, ambiance, service, and price (great for what you are getting in your meal). This place was like a modern art gallery meets small town bakery/diner.
