Green and Grey Layered Sweater Outfit

I've been lusting over my Michael Stars cowl neck sweater knit mix top and cashmere blend turtleneck poncho; but it has been searingly hot in so cal so I haven't been able to wear either! Finally, due to the rain fall this weekend, I was able to cozy up under both pieces! I paired the sweater poncho and knit top with a pair of Liz Claiborne wool high waisted tapered trousers that I had thrifted from my last NYC trip. These trousers happen to be the luck of the draw; I didn't try them on before purchasing and it wasn't a cut that I usually wear; with the pleated front and wide hips to tapered legs.I'm usually not a turtle neck kind of gal, so the cowl neck is a great alternative, and definitely gives me more volume up top (if ya know what I mean). All 3 pieces are my go-to fall AND winter wardrobe essentials! Give an old handbag a new look by wrapping a scarf around one handle, or tying a bow at the bottom. It was difficult to find a similar pant since I had thrifted this pair, but you can find similar trousers on ETSY, or 'Get the Look' below!
