After filming a
segment for KTLA Morning News with the LA Fashion Council, I headed back down to OC to power nap then get ready for the Style 2020 event, '
How Do You Define Style?' at the
Island Hotel in Newport Beach. I got to sport by new ombre hair look by
Falisha K and wear a stunning ruffled gown from
Thai Nguyen Collections' Fall 2014 Follow the Nile collection. Along with my photographer and stylist friend Andrew, we got to meet and chat with other bloggers and fashion enthusiasts during cocktail hour then enjoyed a delicious lunch while listening to the
Style 2020 Founder and Creator Kathryn Moore speak with Sephora Creative Director Cindy Carrandi and L'oreal's Head of Global Communication Nicole Simpson about their career successes and struggles as well as balancing life! It was insightful and great to listen to such accomplished women on a more personal level and how they juggle it all.
The luncheon ended with a panel of
Style 2020 stylists and their clients, and beauty and lifestyle experts as they chatted about how they define style and trends for the spring/summer season. Check out a video montage below:
