Custom Bridesmaid Painted Leather Jackets

I had been seeing hand painted custom jackets all over the wedding scene, so when it came to selecting what to gift my bridal party and moms, I knew I wanted to give a hand painted faux leather jacket for each bridesmaid. I originally was just going to do a first initial and floral design, but decided on having each bridesmaid’s name painted in full. There are many artists/shops out there that provide the jacket and painting service, since I reached out to my calligraphy artist friend Eunice directly, and she doesn’t typically sell painted jackets, I went on the hunt for my own jackets to give her to paint.

Thankfully, I found enough black leather jackets for my bridal party from Sears - and although there were numerous issues with receiving incorrect sizes and colors, it all ended up getting sorted in the end and I had enough black faux leather jackets for the entire bridal party. The jackets were perfect, they were unique with the hand painted names and kept the ladies warm throughout the day and night. They also contrasted really well with the bridesmaid dresses - I always love the juxtaposition between edgy and feminine style.
