The Flowers Field Carlsbad Open for 2022 Season

I received the exciting news that the Flowers Fields in Carlsbad is now open for the 2022 season until May 8th! Last year we were able to visit, but towards the very very very end of the season, so most of the flowers were dead or on their way out. And before that, I visited in 2017 at the height of the season so there were many flowers in bloom. I’ve included two vlogs from my visits below.

All tickets must be purchased online prior to your visit - book tickets here. Here are some tips that I’ve shared previously when visiting the Flower Fields, also check out the event calendar and attractions page as there are a lot of things that go on!

  • Wear sunscreen or sun protective wear

  • If you are going to be walking up the hillsides, wear comfortable shoes

  • Photography is permitted, but professional equipment needs prior approval

  • By arriving early, you can also avoid a queue for the tractor ride if that is something you want to experience

  • Come with friends, family, anyone! It's a beautiful place to visit
