Unboxing & Review of the Mina Baie Stevie Midi Backpack for Travel

I’ve had several different convertible backpack/shoulder bags that I’ve ordered from Amazon, but wanted to try this Mina Baie Stevie midi backpack (even though it’s originally marketed as a diaper bag) because of all of the functionality built into it. The backpack has already been to 5 countries with me! I’ve loved traveling with it because it’s super functional and is a reliable personal carry-on item when traveling on multiple flights in one trip. I went with this midi size instead of the full size because I knew I would be able to stow it under the seat in front of me and I felt it would be more manageable to use.

Overall it met my expectations and purpose while traveling, I wish I had a smidge more room, but again was concerned that the full-sized backpack would get flagged as a carry on item and I would have to check my carry-on luggage (while traveling the budget airlines in Vietnam - my backpack was actually weighed before boarding my EVA flight LAX to SGN).
Having the two strap options is great in case you go somewhere that you can’t have a backpack on, and for safety reasons while walking/on public transit. That way I can easily convert to a shoulder bag and don’t have to wear my backpack at the front.
What are your go-to travel bags? Especially as a carry-on personal item?
