Silk Slip Dress in the City - Visiting London, UK

I had received this Catherine Gee Emma Slip Dress in Bronze, and brought it with me on my England/Amsterdam trip. I didn’t get a chance to wear it in Amsterdam, so when we were on the last leg of our trip and in London, I wore this number for a dinner. It’s nice to wear on its own or with a light jacket over. I didn’t wear a jacket though because it was so muggy and hot in London, and thankfully the silk fabric was really cool to the touch. I finished styling the look with the Louis Vuitton Felicie with strap and chelsea boots (that I picked up from Primark for only £16!!!). I brought along my Erewhon tote bag with me in case we went shopping that night LOL.

This dress is pretty versatile and features extended straps off the main dress straps that can be tied, and I think more for a styling aspect, not to adjust the length of the dress. I unfortunately was sent a dress size larger than the size I usually wear was sent to me, so I had to tie up alot of the back straps in attempts to pull the dress upwards to cover more of my chest, and it ended up snapping by the end of the night. Overall the flow, silhouette and back ruffle detail are so nice, the dress are comes in other colors. and really beautiful, vibrant patterns! So easy to dress up or down!
