Unboxing the Prada Vitello Grain Small Leather Wallet

I was on the hunt for a new wallet, and I wanted a neutral color in a soft leather. I found this small leather wallet from the Prada Store at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. I was used to using a zip wallet about 1.5x the size of thiis one, so was trying to downsize but also still be able to fit what I needed in one wallet. I liked this one in the vitello grain in particular because it was soft to the touch, and it had all of the pockets I was looking for in a new wallet.

Although I would have preferred to have a clear slot to show my driver’s license/I.D. just so I don’t have to pull it out and in from the slot, I could live without it. There were enough slots for my primary cards, a snap pocket good for change, and a cash pocket. After not too long of using it, I noticed that the leather was worn away on the side seam - a little piece had peeled off. That was an odd find, seeing that I wasn’t throwing around the wallet in my bags. Also with this softer leather, it tends to lose its shape and structure in some places since it is softer and not so rigid. I still love the shape, color and texture, but really wish it would have lasted substantially longer before starting to show signs of wear. I recommend the Small Saffiano Leather wallet and the wallet leather seems sturdier, and has essentially the same design as this one. Although I can not speak to the quality of the wallet itself since I don’t own it or have used it. I’ve included some other similar options:
