Meet Up at the Glassblower Pub in Soho, London

To say I was so over the moon excited, happy, ecstatic to see my friend Tobi and her family whilst in London is a huge understatement. The last time we saw the Curtises was when we actually stayed with them over New Year’s Eve into the New Year of 2020 (WOWZA). So it’s been almost 2 years, and with Tobi working in healthcare which has been a huge stress to say the least, it was bittersweet to be able to come together and just shoot the shit over some drinks and food. I’m really so thrilled we were able to pull off this meet up!

We decided to meet in Soho, and found the historic Glassblower pub, which was once a workhouse for London’s poor but its name is taken from the site’s history as a glassblowers’ workhouse. The building itself dates back to 1868 and was originally named the Bodega (Greene King Pubs). The place was quite quaint & cozy, decorated and all festive for Christmas downstairs, and there was plenty of space upstairs if we wanted to spread out. We enjoyed gin drinks, ciders and British classics like fish & chips and steak pies - YUM!

The Glassblower pub is situated in the heart of London’s Soho district, and just about a 3 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus.
